You'll receive an invitation from Biofire to finalize your order when your Biofire Smart Gun is near the front of the manufacturing queue, indicating that your Smart Gun is preparing for manufacturing. There is no need for additional action in the time between placing your reservation and receiving the invitation unless Biofire reaches out directly. The finalization process requires the confirmation of necessary order details, and actions to gather any requirements needed to allow your Smart Gun to be moved into manufacturing.
Finalization Access
You'll receive an email from Biofire with detailed instructions when it's time to finalize your order. You have two ways to begin the process:
- Click the button in your invitation email
You will be directed to the finalization page
- Visit your account page
Go to smartgun.com/account and navigate to your orders section, where you can finalize your order
Follow the on-screen prompts to work through each step, confirming your details and preferences along the way.
During Finalization
The finalization process consists of confirming your account details and your Smart Gun's build for manufacturing and delivery. We recommend you complete the entire process in one-sitting.
During this process, you will go through the following steps:
Review and update your account information
- Confirm your legal name, phone number, and email address
- Your chosen FFL will rely on this contact information to notify you when your Smart Gun is ready for pickup
- Take a moment to verify all information is accurate before moving forward
Confirm your Mailing address
- This step is critical for delivery of your Grip Sizing Template which must be complete before manufacturing
- This is not the address where your Smart Gun will be delivered
- Please refer to the Grip Sizing Template article for more information
Confirm your build and lock in your custom options
Complete your final payment and confirm your shipping and billing addresses
- Review and confirm the state where you intend to take delivery
- You must be a legal resident of this state at the time of delivery
- Your state of residence cannot be changed once you finalize your order, as we manufacture your Smart Gun to meet the requirements of your chosen state
Sumbit your preferred serial number (if your order includes this option)
Please note that your Smart Gun Build and accessory selections cannot be modified or canceled once final payment is complete and moved into the production process.
