Your Biofire Smart Gun is built for you. Biofire strives to make the experience of owning a Smart Gun as customized to your life as possible. Customize your Smart Gun build by selecting polymer colors, setting your magazine release preference, and choosing your handedness at smartgun.com/build. The Smart Gun can be ordered in a stock configuration or with selected color combinations. You have the additional option of selecting a custom serial number to further distinguish your Smart Gun.
You can update your reserved build at any time prior to finalization, including adding or removing customizations and accessories. Prior to finalizing your order and taking final payment, you will have a final chance to edit and update your colors, handedness, custom serial number selection, and accessories. Please refer to the Editing Your Smart Gun Build article for more information.
After your order is finalized, it cannot be changed as your configuration will begin manufacturing.
Color Options
You will have the option to choose the colors for various polymer (plastic) components in your Smart Gun Build. Various combinations are available, but please note that some combinations may be limited at Biofire's discretion. The configurator will guide you on the available color combinations. Colors and combination availability may change between reservation and finalization based on state regulations and production availability.
Handedness COnfiguration
Customize your Smart Gun for your dominant hand. As shown in the Smart Gun Sizing article, the fingerprint biometric sensor relies on a fingerprint reading, which is only placed on one side of the grip. If multiple authorized users have different dominant hands, facial recognition biometrics support non-dominant hand authentication, allowing the Smart Gun to be armed and used, as long as facial enrollment for that user has been completed. Your Smart Gun's grip should be customized to the owner's dominant hand as the primary user.
Custom Serial Number
You can upgrade your Smart Gun order to choose your own unique alphanumeric serial number (2-10 characters). Serial numbers are first-come, first-served based on order date and edition. All requests are subject to approval at Biofire's discretion. You will not be able to submit your requested serial number(s) until the finalization process.
The option of selecting a custom serial number can be removed from your reservation prior to finalization.
If you do not add the upgrade to choose a custom serial number or opt-out, Biofire will assign a serial number when your Smart Gun is manufactured.
Accessories
Every Smart Gun comes standard with two magazines and the option to add more. You can accessorize further with a Range Kit which includes custom Wiley X Saber Advanced eye protection and active noise-cancellation hearing protection for training, or add a Nanuk 915K custom hard case for secure transport and storage.
Federal, state, and local laws may change from time-to-time and limit availability of certain customizations, including color choices.
